Recruitment & Study-Related Materials
Recruitment Materials include, but are not limited to: print advertisements, television and radio advertisements, letters from doctors, study websites/web listings, posters,
Scripts For Phone Screens, brochures, and doctor to other doctor letters (when used for recruitment purposes).
Study-Related Materials include, but are not limited to: subject diaries, subject instruction sheets, questionnaires, surveys, and house rules for overnight stays.
You must submit all recruitment and study-related materials for review and receive approval or acknowledgement prior to using the materials. Please review the

If you plan to have materials translated into another language, you must first obtain approval or acknowledgement for the English versions of the materials. Please visit Translations for more information.
Recruitment and study-related materials must be accompanied by the
Recruitment / Study-Related Material(s) Submission Form. You may submit these materials to Schulman via:
If using a television or radio advertisement, you must first submit the written script for review prior to recording the audio and/or video version. If the script is approved, you may then record and submit the video and/or audio for final approval prior to its use. When submitting television scripts for review, you must describe and/or include in the written script any graphics, photos, logos or text that will be visible on screen.
The first page of each item submitted will be stamped according to the Board reviewer's decision. Schulman will approve, acknowledge, or request changes to the submitted materials. Acknowledged materials include but are not limited to: copyrighted documents, some subject instructions and standardized questionnaires. Revisions must be resubmitted within three (3) weeks.
The standard turnaround time is two to three (2-3) business days from the time the materials are prepared for Board review to distribution. Please note that recruitment and/or study-related material submissions received after 3 p.m. EST may not be processed until the next business day. Schulman offers a rush service for recruitment and study-related materials which guarantees review and distribution within 24 hours of receipt of the submission.
Materials are distributed to the study contacts via the method specified by the Sponsor/CRO (WebPortal 3D, SiteAccess, or e-mail). In order to obtain a hardcopy of the material, the submitting party must provide duplicate copies of the requested material along with a self-addressed stamped envelope.
