Schulman IRB Is Exclusive Sponsor of PRIM&R’s IBC Boot Camp in Denver

September 7th, 2017

Schulman IRB, the industry-leading central IRB in customer service and technology, will be sponsoring Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research’s (PRIM&R) Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) Boot Camp from September 18-19 in Denver, Colorado.

Schulman’s IBC team will be available to discuss how the organization’s IBC services can provide all components to complement an existing IBC or build and administer an entirely new IBC from scratch.

“With the growth of gene therapy research, IRBs and IBCs increasingly need to be able to collaborate effectively—and with that comes many questions,” said Daniel Eisenman, Director of Biosafety Services at Schulman IRB. “PRIM&R’s IBC Boot Camp will educate attendees on best practices and strategies for IRBs, IBCs and IACUCs to work together more efficiently.”

PRIM&R’s IBC Boot Camp is an intermediate- to advanced-level program that will provide information, tools, and guidance for IBC, IRB, and IACUC professionals to improve integration to best support research that is ethical, collaborative, and interdisciplinary. Attendees will have opportunities for benchmarking, sharing resources such as SOPs, and networking with colleagues in the field.
