Schulman IRB to Support and Present at PRIM&R’s 2017 AER Conference

Schulman IRB, the industry-leading central IRB in customer service and technology, will be exhibiting at the Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research’s (PRIM&R) 2017 Advancing Ethical Research Conference (AER) from November 5-8 in San Antonio, Texas.

Schulman’s team will be available at Booth 201 to discuss its single IRB (sIRB) services and institutional biosafety committee (IBC) capabilities. In addition, Michele Russell-Einhorn, Vice President for Human Research Protection Services and Institutional Official at Schulman, will participate in the following sessions:

  • SpeakerIRB Risk Assessment in Studies Using In Vitro Diagnostics (IVDs), on November 7 at 11:00 a.m.

The 2017 Advancing Ethical Research Conference (AER17) will bring together more than 2,300 professionals from public and private institutions, the federal government, industry and academia. The conference will include keynote addresses, panels and breakout sessions designed to help build and strengthen effective human subject protections programs that oversee research. Attendees will learn about ethical issues and the federal regulations governing human subjects research, best practices for the review and monitoring of research, changes to the Common Rule, and other timely and late-breaking topics.
