Schulman IRB’s Director of Biosafety Services to Present ACRP Webinar

Daniel Eisenman, PhD, RBP, SM (NRCM), CBSP, Director of Biosafety Services at Schulman IRB, will be presenting a webinar titled “An Introduction to Gene Therapy Research” for the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) on Tuesday, August 22 from 12-1:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Gene-Therapy-WebinarThe webinar will cover the current state of gene therapy research and the associated risks and regulatory requirements. Attendees will learn how to obtain the necessary regulatory approvals and how to prepare sites to conduct gene therapy research.

In addition to having over a decade of experience in biosafety program management, Eisenman is an experienced educator and presenter in the fields of biological safety, genetic engineering, immunology and infectious diseases. He previously ran the Institutional Biosafety Committee program at UNC Chapel Hill and also served as an Alternate Responsible Official for select agents and Institutional Contact for Dual Use Research.
